Strawberry Shortcake Recipe

With just five simple ingredients, this strawberry shortcake smoothie is simple to make and sure to satisfy a craving for something sweet! It's refreshing, healthy, and tastes deceptively like a strawberry milkshake! The smoothie is dairy free, refined sugar free, and follows the SCD and Paleo diets.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup canned coconut milk, shaken
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 12 medium frozen strawberries
  • 1 small frozen banana

Instructions

  • Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy. Adjust sweetness as needed. 
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy! 

Notes

  • For an ice cream or smoothie bowl consistency, decrease the coconut milk to 1/2 cup.
  • If using fresh fruit instead of frozen, add a cup of ice to the blender.
